CONTROL OF ATM ACTIVITY BY THE RNA INTERFERENCE MACHINERY

Ataxia-Telangiectasia is a genetic disease that affects between one out of 40000 and one out of 100000 persons. We believe that we have discovered a novel class of cell products that modulate the functions of gene mutated in this disease. We will work to better understand its mechanisms of function in the hope to alter the impact of this disease on patients.
