The Wiskott-Aldrich disease is a genetic syndrome that affects boys below 10 years of age. The prognosis is often very poor. Patients are not able to fight bacterial infections and present recurrent hemorrhages, hematological malignancies and autoimmune manifestations. This project's main objective is to characterize the cellular mechanisms that cause autoimmune phenomena in WAS in order to improve the design of therapeutic strategies.
