Tigem Medaka Fish Facility

Medaka Fish Facility (MFF) - The Medaka fish is a valuable model for research, as its short life cycle and reproductive capacity allow for efficient studies. Its optical clarity makes it ideal for imaging and allows us to monitor developing pathological states. The use of fluorophores enhances this process, allowing us to track tissues and develop drug strategies. The "Total Award" amount indicated for this project represents the share of the funding of the Telethon Foundation for research by the Tigem institute from July 2016 until last budget year, calculated based on the size of the research group.
